Eindhoven is a city located in South of the Netherlands close to Belgium border. It is in province of North- Brabant (Noord-Brabant). Even though Eindhoven is the biggest city in the province with 223,220 residence; 's-Hertogenbosch is the capitol of the province.

Eindhoven is the capitol of high technology in the Netherlands. Most of the big industrial companies and energy research activities held in here. Due to this reason, city is always in order and it's a working-city. It's also a home to ASML, one of the biggest supplier in the world for high tech companies such as Intel, which located in Veldhoven. If you are young and seeking for a good start to career Eindhoven is where you start.

Eindhoven is also called Phillips' City among the citizens.Headquarters of Phillips is in Eindhoven and all city dominated by this company. Most of the buildings and routes own by them and you can easily see the name of "Phillips" everywhere in the city. High Tech Campus where I am conducting my internship is also an old Phillips Factory that turned into a campus which is home to numerous start-ups and more than 100 companies. 

Another interesting note that apparently Brabant-Dutch dialect is a lot different than the Dutch that is spoken in other provinces. In this way, it is reminding me of Austria.
