Tutte le strade portano a Roma

Finalmente in Italia - and ready to give you a taste of my ERASMUS+ adventure with those who crave for spaghetti, wine and an eloquent culture.

In the beginning I will give you some advice about planning the beginning of your stay abroad.

Carefully plan your time concerning transportation. Me for example I chose a great flight from Vienna, what I did not consider was the time I need to Vienna, the time at the airport, the time at the airport in Rome, the transport time from the airport to the city and from the Termini, the main station, to the hotel. I could have simply taken the train from Villach ( south Austria) to Rome, it would have been less time consuming. BUT as we all know " all streets lead to Rome".

As mentioned above I had to walk to get to the hotel with my entire stuff, my trolley so heavy I couldn't even pull it behind me, anyway, I somehow managed because I am strong. Especially when it is about my clothes I simply own a lot of extraordinary peaces which are my treasures and of course not to forget about my books.

Finally I ended up in run down hotel just around the corner of the Termini Roma because I did not have a room yet.

P.S. Thanks to my parents who took me the train that morning of the 31st of August 2018, and who support these kind of experiences.
