We found ourselves in the beautiful country of a thousand lakes, Finland. Ready for a new adventure. The city of interest is Jyväskylä, central Finland. The location is in the outer area of the city, five walking minutes away from one of the beautiful forests in Finland. The level of quietness is astonishing. The connection to nature is felt deep and strong. Not far away we find the first public BBQ spot next to a lake with amazing views. The other direction, we get closer to the city life. As the city is very attractive for students, around 40,000 people are students from the total 141,300 population.
The city is the host of the WRC Rally Championship, of the 1000 Lakes Rallye. With beautiful sights in the city and basically everything being reachable via bike it is a lively city. Still, the city is very widespread, wide and long roads bring you through the city with countless paths specifically for biking.
Through TimeTravels, we were able to see the most magical places. Side Quests to Lofoten in Norway and Lapland in Finland were unbelievable. Photographic evidence secured. From Fjords in Lofoten in September with swims in the arctic ocean to completely frozen and covered-in-snow landscapes in November in Lapland, the most fantastic moments were captured with our eyes, but some of those moments even with a camera. The dancing colorful northern lights above the sky were just magical to see and conclude this fabulous experience.
