Art in the city

Exhibitions in Paris you have to see

Paris is awesome, so of course many friends have called to visit me during my stay in Paris. Nice in a way, because so I have always a piece of home in this lovely city.

After the Arrival of my Cousin at my Appartement we went directly to Trocadéro and started his stay with viewing the Eiffletower! He loved it at once. During his stay we visited as well the Louvre and several arts exhibitions throughout the City. You can't flew from art in Paris, this would be a mission impossible (one of the main reasons I decided to come here was the unbelievable arts offering).

Daniel didn't want to leave the Louvre and didn't want to miss any Exhibition there - so we stayed inside until we had a find-and-catch play with the security persons we in the end lost :-( . The Mona Lisa (la Jaconde) is just a reson to enter the Louvre but it is not as impressive as the art exhibition of France paintings showing scenes from the 1600-1900, e.g. the famous scene of Napoleon Bonaparte giving the crown to his wife by himself and the Pope standing behind him. Unbelievable powerful message painted!

But the best reason and the motivation for everybody enjoying art in Paris is that nearly every entrance fee is skipped if your under 26 years old and a European citizen.

And before the Louvre we enjoyed the sun in the Jardin de Tuileries. This is the huge parc in front of the Louvre where also goats (yess GOATS!!) enjoy the sun and which always hosts modern sculptures. So also in a public garden you can't escape the city of arts and at least then you will start to discover your couriosity in arts!

Several artists are painting in the garden and selling their paintings which makes the atmosphere perfect :)) Play this video to see how great they paint:
