Quick update

uni's in full swing and its getting really cold!

This week is already the third week of university, and time's flying by! Last week, we started on our first tutorials, which are really fun and engaging. In them, you expand on the lecture contents by doing exercises and calculations. This way, you don't have to study for exams that much since you already studied some for these tutorials. I prefer this system to the Austrian "oh I've got a week left, better cram in everything now"-approach.

Even though its still sunny and it hasn't rained (except from a bit of rain/snow(?) fluff this morning) yet, summer is most definitely over. One week ago was the last day of high temperatures of 25 degrees upwards, now were tending towards 15 ... even though the weekend, especially Saturday, is supposed to be much warmer! In tandem with the temperature change, everyone is sick, you can barely hear the lecturer speaking between all of those coughs. Even though I managed to stay healthy for a full two weeks next to my coughing roommate, the bug finally caught me on Saturday, probably because I went out in the morning and it was much, much colder than I had anticipated.

Yesterday I had my first tandem class, which was german-french and I enjoyed it immensely. Naturally, all the german exchange students are there! I was also accepted into the dance association, which I'm very proud of - we have around 4,5 hours of dance each week, with choreography on Thursday and training on Tuesday. This weekend, I'm going to the integration weekend of the music association (I sing in my free time, as people who follow this profile must have noticed by now ...), which I'm immensely looking forward to - I just hope it's in a place warmer than here.
