Even though I am working full time during my Erasmus+ time I wanted and still want to explore as much as possible. But what can you do without a car and only the weekend to travel around? Fortunately, Heidelberg is located perfectly in the south of Germany so travelling to France, Switzerland or even Belgium is quite fast. By using trains or buses every weekend can be an adventure. In March, I did one trip with a company called “Studifahrten”  to Paris. Friday night the bus left to the capital of France. In the morning we arrived and had a great view on the Eiffel Tower. After 11 hours in Paris, a kilometer-long walk and an amazing ship cruise on the Seine the bus headed back to Heidelberg where we arrived Sunday morning. In my luggage I had great impressions of the city of love (even though it was raining most of the time) and also new acquaintances I am still in contact with.
