It takes you just 10 minutes to go by bike from the University to the largest open-air market in the Netherlands and to one of the largest markets in Europe. You will find nearly everything there: food, clothes, fabric and of course typical dutch cheese, fish and waffles. Many habitants do their grocery shopping there due to the low prices. The market is open from 09:00 to 17:00 everyday except Tuesday and Thursday. Everything has tasted very good since I came here - especially the spices and the fruits! :-D
